Thanksgiving dinner

I went home for Thanksgiving in my first (and maybe second) year of University, and haven't gone home since. Once I started working at the mall, I ended up working every weekend and stat holiday (mall in Kingston is open EVERY day but Xmas and Good Friday). Then last year I was at the library that weekend. This year, I really considered going home, but since everyone is coming in November, decided against it.

This is what happens when you forget to put the
ham away. The cat finds it and chows down.
Dinner! (I'll be making this for you Colleen
whenyou're back from China!)

Every year I make some sort of Thanksgiving meal for myself. Last year, I cooked my first turkey, which was awesome, but this year I wasn't feeling quite as ambitious - I've been pretty lazy lately! Instead I made ham, with scalloped potatoes from scratch, brussell sprouts and creamed corn...so goood! And some thanksgiving treats of course for dessert, but I am waaaay too full for that right now. I have dishes to do now and can't manage that either!
